One-Day Sundarijal Hike (Classic) – Moderate
Distance & Time • ~15–18 km round trip • ~5–8 hours, depending on pace & side trips
Suggested Itinerary
Morning – 7:00–8:00 AM • Start at Sundarijal (roughly 15–17 km NE of Kathmandu). • Enter Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park and begin uphill on forest trails. • Stop at viewpoints for valley & mountain views.
Midday – 11:00 AM–12:30 PM • Reach Mulkharka or Nagi Gompa – scenic spots good for break and lunch. • Option: Continue to Chisapani village for more views (adds time).
