Overview of Sanga To Panauti Hiking
Hiking from Sanga to Panauti leads to the 108-foot-tall statue of Lord Shiva holding a Trishul (trident) in one hand that is Sanga’s main draw. The tallest statue of Lord Shiva in the entire world is this one. Later on in the hike, you arrive at Panauti, a village in a Newar community. This lovely town, which is bordered by verdant hills and sacred rivers, is dotted with both Buddhist and Hindu temples. The undiscovered jewel of Nepal is Panauti. You can sample the food at the Panauti Community Homestay, which was founded by the local ladies of Panauti. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about the genuine Nepalese way of life, experience its warm hospitality, sample the cuisine, and support its regional customs and culture.
