Domestic Flights in Nepal

Domestic Flights in Nepal

Nepal, which is known for its mountain airports, has a variety of domestic flights that connect you to the entire nation. When you only have a short period of time in Nepal, it’s frequently advisable to take a local aircraft to save yourself from long drives. To account for travel delays, it’s preferable to add one or two buffer days before and after your trek because mountain weather can be unpredictable.

Flight Delays

Any domestic flight in Nepal should be prepared for a few hours of delay. There is a backlog of people and frequently no communication from the airport or airlines regarding the status of your journey due to the unpredictable mountain weather and frequent flight delays for a variety of causes. It’s advisable to be safe and allow yourself a day’s buffer, if feasible, when organizing an international flight around one of your domestic flights.
